In this section, we discuss all the diseases, disorders and other dysfunctions where cannabinoids are reported to have therapeutic potential.
For some diseases there is considerable preclinical and clinical research data to demonstrate the therapeutic properties of cannabinoids where for other diseases the therapeutic properties described are purely anecdotal.
Here we review the available scientific literature, assess its scientific value, and explain it to patients and the general public in layman’s terms.
In addition, we list the cannabinoid receptors endocannabinoids and plant cannabinoids associated with the disease process or potential therapy and list the cannabis strains that best fit the required cannabinoid profile.
The vast majority of citations on this website refer to PubMed (the U.S. National Library of Medicine, NIH).
